Founded in 1974 through the trading of agricultural products, the Göksu Family

entered the manufacturing industry by establishing its first flour mill in 1992. Since its foundation, GÖKUN has demonstrated steady growth and today ranks among Türkiye’s leading wheat flour manufacturers.

Production

We Produce with Care.

In addition to our two production lines with a wheat processing capacity of 650 tons per day, our facility also operates a heat-treated flour production line with a capacity of 75 tons per day. Our factory has a raw material storage capacity of 45,000 MT in food-grade steel silos, while our food-grade vertical silos provide a finished product storage capacity of 10,800 MT.

Our facility operates in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and BRC quality management system standards. Our employees are trained and certified in accordance with HACCP general hygiene practices and food safety requirements, with certification provided by SGS.

Quality

Quality for Health and Flavor

Our company applies the ISO 9001:2015 and BRC Quality and Food Safety Systems in its production system and laboratory analyses. Within this framework, existing hazards and risks are first identified, and control and management systems are then developed to minimize or eliminate these risks.

Samples are first taken from the vehicles delivering wheat to our factory using an automatic sampling probe and analyzed in our controlled laboratory. The analyzed wheat is then examined according to various criteria and evaluated based on the results.

Raw materials that meet GÖKUN Specifications based on the analysis results are accepted. In addition, the collected wheat samples are sent for pesticide analysis to check for agricultural chemical residues.
At our factory, analyses carried out at every stage—from raw material acceptance to final sale—are performed meticulously and in compliance with the Turkish Food Codex Wheat Flour Communiqué and applicable quality standards.

Our laboratory is equipped with instruments from globally recognized brands such as CHOPIN, BRABENDER, and PERTEN for flour and wheat analyses, and all our analyses are carried out using these instruments.

Our advanced laboratories, which demonstrate our commitment to quality, also include a Microbiology Laboratory. By performing microbiological analyses on the final product, we prove how meticulous we are in ensuring the flour’s suitability for human consumption.

From Silivri to Kitchens Around the World

Operating in Silivri, Istanbul provides GÖKUN with significant advantages thanks to the region’s strategic geographical location. Our proximity to ports and major transit routes enables us to achieve both efficient raw material supply and strong logistical capabilities, creating a competitive advantage while saving valuable time in operations.

OUR DISTRIBUTION FLEET
Domestic deliveries are carried out through our own transportation fleet. In addition, our silo truck vehicles enable us to provide bulk flour transportation services for industrial-scale companies.

CONTAINER TRANSPORTATION
Containers loaded at our factory using our own vehicles are transported to ports and shipped worldwide through international container transportation companies. Furthermore, thanks to our close proximity to ports, we are also able to efficiently manage large-scale bulk vessel loading operations.
